The Three Wise Men Again Visit Vilanova i la Geltrú

In the evening of January 5, the Three Wise Men or the Magi of the Orient (reis mags de l'Orient, in Catalan) -  Melchior, Caspar and Balthasar - made their traditional arrival at the castle of Geltrú and then paraded through the town, before they were received by our local political representatives in plaça de la Vila. Our mayor, Joan Ignasi Elena (PSC), handed over the keys to all appartments and houses of the town, so that they could carry our their important work during this magic night; to deliver presents to all children and former children.

Even my wife received a gift from them; something which someone had bought for her for Christmas, but then forgot to pack when we left for Sweden.
