More Festa Major in Vilafranca del Penedès (Barcelona)!

I will make it very simple for this weekend (August 31 – September 2): If you have come here in order to explore Catalan culture there is only one place to be: Vilafranca del Penedès in Alt Penedès. And if you want to see the processions full of folklore - giants, firespitting monsters, human towers and traditional dances - which have made the Festa Major in this town so famous, then you have to hurry up: Tonight, Friday 31, is your last chance! But do not worry – during Saturday and Sunday there is still plenty to discover: a dance with fire (ball de foc) similar to the more well-known correfocs, a concert with havaneres, fireworks and more.
