Catalan Blog Prizes to 3 Penedesfera bloggers

Blogs by members of Penedesfera - the Penedès blogger community – have been nominated but never won any prizes in earlier editions of the Catalan Blog Prize (Premis Blocs Catalunya) organized by Stic.cat. This was compensated in this year’s fourth edition when three prizes went here.

El blog de Polseres Vermelles is created by 12-year-old Joan Pons from Igualada (Anoia) is centered around a highly popular series which the Catalan public service channel TV3 broadcasted during last spring.

365 dies i 365 entrevistes is written by Oriol Rodríguez from Gelida (Alt Penedès) with the intention to carry out an x-ray on the Catalan society of the early 21st century.

Ruta Baobab, la volta al món porta a porta, finally, is about how Francesc Balagué from la Llacuna (Anoia) explored the concept of Six degrees of separation while traveling around the world.

This year the prize ceremony took place in la Seu d’Urgell and prizes were awarded to 24 blogs in 12 different theme based categories.
