Les Roquetes (Sant Pere de Ribes, Garraf) now has its own fresh food market located in a new shopping complex - completely financed by the chain Mercadona, which in return has been granted a 40-year concession to operate the adjacent supermarket. The name, la Sinia, reveals that the building is in a place where formerly there used to be a waterwheel.
Let us celebrate that les Roquetes can offer an improved service level and 60 new job opportunities for its inhabitants, without any major expenses for the municipal coffins.
